God, Money and You – Pt. 3

God – It is the desire for God for you to be rich. God is excited when you prosper. God has a plan to prosper you. He wants you to prosper and be in good health as your soul prospers. God is interested in your wealth business.

Money – it is not evil in and of itself. It is the love of money that is the root of all evil. It is the intention behind your actions to pursue the money that determines whether it becomes evil or not.  Money answers all things.

1 Timothy 6:10 –  For the love of money is a root of all evils, of which some having lusted after, they were seduced from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

There are 2 principles to obtain money.

There are kingdom principles to obtain it and there are earthly principles to obtain money.

The economic system of a country determines whether it is perceived as rich or poor.

God’s economy is different from the world’s economy.

You – Everyone is after money. It answers all things. Your quest for financial freedom is a product of your belief system.

Genesis 13:2 – And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold.

The Blessings of God make you rich.

“You can have the best skills on the face of the earth and still be broke.” – Pastor Austyn

Genesis 24:35 – And Jehovah has blessed my master greatly, and he has become great. And He has given him flocks and herds and silver and gold, and male slaves and slave women, and camels and asses.

In this verse of scripture is states that “the Lord had blessed his master”. Remember the source of your wealth and increase.

Isaiah 51:2 – Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

Genesis 26:12-13 – 12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold. And Jehovah blessed him. 13 And the man became great. And he went forward and grew until he grew very great.

Genesis 36:6 -7 – 6 And Esau took his wives and his sons and his daughters, and all the souls of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance which he had gotten in the land of Canaan, and went into the country away from the face of his brother Jacob. 7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together. And the land of their travels could not bear them because of their cattle.

Esau was so blessed that there was no room for his blessing and so he had to move.

1 Chronicles 29:28 – He died at a good old age, having enjoyed long life, wealth and honor. His son Solomon succeeded him as king.

Psalm 27:35 – I have been young, and am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his seed begging bread.

You are programmed to be successful. Do you believe that?

“You have no right to what you don’t believe. What you appreciate is what you’ll attract. What you despise will not come to you.” – Pastor Austyn

The Instructions that you are willing to obey, will determine the miracle that you will receive.

What is your confession? Do you keep saying to yourself “I’m broke”? Order your conversations right. Refine what it is that you have been confessing to yourself. You can acknowledge that you are facing challenges, but you do not have to declare into the atmosphere that “you’re broke”.

What do you believe?

Mark 9: 23 – “’If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.”

God is committed to blessing you, but are you committed to His blessing? Engage God with faith. God remains faithful, but the question is, are you faithful?

If you don’t have faith, then what is it that you believe?

Many Christians do everything right to get to heaven, but they don’t do the same thing when it comes to wealth.

“Being prosperous means that you have what it takes to answer your needs” – Pastor Austyn.

Everything is based on your belief system. Have the FAITH FACTOR.

God can use someone even less qualified than you and promote him because he has the FAITH FACTOR.

What is your FAITH FACTOR?

“Some people hate poverty but fail to embrace prosperity.” – Pastor Austyn.

Proverbs 23:7 – for as he thinks in his heart, so is he; “Eat and drink”, he says to you, but his heart is not with you.

Psalm 35:27 – Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

Psalm 1:1 -6 – 1 Blessed is the man Who walks in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is only in the Law of Jehovah; and in His Law he meditates day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivulets of water that brings forth its fruit in its seasons, and its leaf shall not wither, and all which he does shall be blessed. 4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous; but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

You can make mistakes, but don’t continue to live in sin. You cannot serve God and live in sin. If you practice sin and delight in it, then the devil has taken a hold of you. Those that sow corruption will reap in corruption.

Maintain your integrity in all that you pursue.

Run away from ungodly counsel. There is safety in the counsel of those who are Godly.

“Do not subscribe to ungodly counsel. You do not need to manipulate in order to make it. If you continue to stand in right standing, God will provide for you.” – Pastor Austyn

Surround yourself with people who are conscious about Godly prosperity.

You have to meditate on what is good through God’s Word.

Joshua 1:8 – This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely.

Genesis 26: 12 -13 – 12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold. And Jehovah blessed him. 13 And the man became great. And he went forward and grew until he grew very great.
