Think Big: The Battle of the Mind

If your mind cannot contain enlargement, then you can’t accept enlargement. The fight for prosperity begins with your mind.

3 John 3:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as you soul prospers.

Your “soul” is your “mind, will and emotions”.

“You cannot go beyond what your mind cannot take. You cannot rise above what you do not know” – Pastor Austyn

Proverbs 23:7 – For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.

Isaiah 54:2 –  Make the place of your tent larger, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings. Do not spare, lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes;

It is the desire of God that you be prosperous. The man Isaac (in the Bible) began to prosper continuously.

Ask God for the grace of continuous prosperity. Can your mind handle the enlargement?

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

still-battle-field-of-the-mind

Do not have a defeatist mentality. You will continue to believe until you see results.

God in His heart wants to see you succeed.

Joshua 1:1-3, 8 1 And it happened after the death of Moses the servant of Jehovah, Jehovah spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ minister, saying, 2 My servant Moses is dead. Now, therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people to the land which I give to them, to the sons of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, I have given that to you, as I said to Moses.

8 This book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it by day and by night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall act wisely.

Enlargement is a continuous journey. Joshua’s mind had to be reprogrammed after God told him that His servant Moses was dead because now God wanted to use Joshua for a great destiny.

You need to rise above that level where God makes you the Head and you believe it so that you can extract the goodness, the favour and enlargement.

If you have the mindset that you possess the increase, you can receive it. It’s your responsibility to work on pursuing prosperity.

You must love the Word of God (The Bible). If you want to enjoy unhindered prosperity, you must love this book called the Bible.

Proverbs 4:1-2 1 Sons, hear the instruction of a father, and listen in order to know understanding. 2 For I give you good teaching; do not forsake my law.

Proverbs 4:21 -23 21 Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, and health to all his flesh. 23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Spiritual warfare

If you believe God’s Word, it will become your reality.

Whose report shall you believe? You shall believe in the report of the Lord.

What is programming your mind? Is it the Word of God or the philosophies of this world?

Guard your mind with the Word of God.

“There are churches that lose its power when it’s all about political correctness rather than spiritual correctness.” – Pastor Austyn

You have to be persuaded by the Word of God.

Philippians 3:13 – My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before,

Until you change your mindset, certain things will not come to you until you do. Until your mind is transformed, you cannot go to the next level. It is indeed a battle field that you must fight the good fight of faith in your mind. Meditate on the Word and observe to do what is written.

Faith without actions is dead.

You observe what is written and then do what it says you should do.

James 2:18-24– 18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith from my works. 19 You believe that there is one God, you do well; even the demons believe and tremble. 20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Do you see how faith worked with his works, and from the works faith was made complete? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God.” 24 You see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

Why are believers not acting on what they believe? It is because they do not do the work that is required of Faith to move to the next level.

You must be willing to re-position yourself to become relevant. If you don’t believe in relevancy than you cannot increase and become relevant. There is no spiritual substitute for life and skills.

Abraham was justified by works. It takes action to get results. Your actions will also expose to you who your enemies are in order to function strategically in the course of your life.

There are Christians who have faith and can look at someone and believe for their healing and deliverance, but when it comes to money and finances, they don’t have the faith in that area because it requires “WORK”.

Think Big and don’t think small. Peter acted in faith when Jesus told him to cast his net back in the water despite the fact that he was an experienced fisherman. But because he believed in the Word of Jesus to throw his net back in once again after trying so many times before, he obtained increase.

“Faith + Work is equal to results” – Pastor Austyn

The Battle is for Your Mind – by Sis. Sharon

2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Without Revelation there is no Manifestation.

Today’s exhortation will deal with you and your mind. How we think about things will determine how we may or may not experience enlargement. What is holding us back? What can we do to break out of the old mindset and experience the transformed one?

We manifest what we believe about ourselves.

Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
“Eat and drink!” he says to you,
But his heart is not with you.

We had a women’s breakfast at that Le Chateau de Jardin in Woodbridge and Dr. Patricia Bailey talked about how she had a quote from Harriet Tubman who was an abolitionist. Basically, Tubman was a free slave who went on to free other slaves from slavery and she never failed to save each one. The favorite quote that Dr. Bailey still has on her wall from Tubman states this, “I would have freed a lot more if they knew they weren’t slaves”. There are a lot of people who think they are better of being imprisoned in a certain line of thinking, but there are people who would like to be set them free. The unbelievers are the one’s in prison and the Believers are the abolitionists who want to take them out of prison by evangelizing the Truth, which we know is wrapped up in the one who saved us and that is Jesus Christ.

God promises to give you a New Heart made of Flesh.

Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV)

26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

As previously mentioned before, you think with your heart. What happens when your heart turns to stone? When your heart is made of stone, it means your body has been petrified. You are dead in the eyes of God. You are cold and there cares of this world hold no meaning for you. However, with a heart of flesh, you are revived from death. You are given new Life and to live again means to have purpose in your existence. However, there are people who are suffering because they do not know of this truth. These people who are cold to the truth are living an existence that is equal to death in God’s eyes. You can say that they are not living, but just simply existing. People who are oppressed, depressed, stressed and hopeless.

The Actions of Death and Life Manifest from the Way we Think

Proverbs 13:11-13 (NKJV)

11 Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished,
But he who gathers by labor will increase.

12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

13 He who despises the word will be destroyed,
But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

  • Gathering wealth by dishonest means will diminish, this is the way of death.

  • Laboring for increase is the way of life.
  • Deferred Hope leads to sickness and ultimately death (suicidal thoughts manifesting into action).
  • Having hope revitalizes you to live a long life and hope for tomorrows blessings.
  • Hating God’s Word will lead to ones ruin.
  • Having a reverential fear and respect for God’s command will allow you benefit and reap the rewards of His Truth.

Transformation of the Mind will reap New Life where Abundance is sure

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Our mindset must align with God’s word so that our old life can be resurrected in the knowledge and faith of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross. Our belief that we are the sons of the Resurrection means that our transformed mind must also transform our lives. If our lives are not transformed, what is this old thinking that is holding us back from our abundance and increase? You cannot put old wine in new wineskin. Death and Life cannot mix.

Old ways/patterns of thinking do not open new doors.

The battle for your Mind is not a physical fight, but a spiritual one. You have a real enemy who Hates you and does not want to see you prosper.

Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[a] against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

If you have ever watched the movie, Fallen with Denzel Washington in it; you will remember that there was an evil spirit that would transfer itself to many people by touch and its wickedness would manifest in those people. Likewise, you as a believer are surrounded everyday by people who do not believe in what you believe. The enemy will use these people to destroy you. However, God wants to remind you that you were once like these people. He also wants you to remember that the Truth you have in you is the very same truth that will rebuke the Spirit of Unbelief out of these people. They will not know how to handle you as you stand firm in the Truth that you know, which is found in the person we call Jesus who is the King of us, his kings, and the Lord of us, His lords.

The Cost of Going to the Next Level

Everything on the face of the earth has a cost.

Count-the-costThere is a cost for:

  1. Unbelief
  2. the anointing; and
  3. the cost of going to the next level

The month of May is a month where you will have to expand

Genesis 32:26 – And He said, Let Me go, for the day breaks. And he said, I will not let You go except You bless me.

You need to go to the next level because this is your season to expand.

Isaiah 54:2-4 – 2 “Enlarge the place of your tent,
And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;
Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.
For you shall expand to the right and to the left,
And your descendants will inherit the nations,
And make the desolate cities inhabited.

“Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;
Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

“You need to have a rhetoric that causes you to believe that you need to expand. If you don’t believe it you will not increase.” – Pastor Austyn

0c55d70b1d30164516901120e5a32265Do you want to go to the next level?

There is a price to the next level.

If you are not willing to pay the price to go to the next level, then you will not go to the next level.

There is a price to enjoy the next level.

The farmer has a seed. He has a choice of either eating the seed or sowing that seed. If he chooses to eat that seed, he will not go to the next level, because after he has eaten it, there will be no harvest. It does not come with ease.

“Do not be deceived by the “name it and claim it syndrome”. It’s not in the naming that you receive your blessing; it’s in the price that you are willing to pay to get to the next level.” – Pastor Austyn

Abraham left a legacy. Isaac, Jacob, Abraham were remembered for what? What will you be remembered for?

In your quest to go to the next level, what are you leaving behind?

Genesis 26:18-2618 And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.

19 Also Isaac’s servants dug in the valley, and found a well of running water there. 20 But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek,[a] because they quarreled with him. 21 Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also. So he called its name Sitnah.[b] 22 And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth,[c] because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

23 Then he went up from there to Beersheba. 24 And the Lord appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.” 25 So he built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord, and he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants dug a well.

26 Then Abimelech came to him from Gerar with Ahuzzath, one of his friends, and Phichol the commander of his army.

The Meaning of the 3 wells:

  1. Esek – the well of “Contention” (Genesis 26:20)

water_well_wallpaper_rn5g0Your next level will be contended with. There will be a fight with your friend or foe for your expansion. Something will be there to stop you from going to the next level. Isaac understood this and did not back down.  There is a grace that comes upon you when you seek to pursue the next level. People will frustrate, malign you, be jealous of you and will fight you, but you have to persevere. You have to pray a price for the next level. Jesus paid the price – he was bruised, humiliated, tortured and killed to set you free. Are you willing to contend for your blessing?

  1. Sitnah – the well of “Opposition” (Genesis 26:21)

You will face opposition. You have to forget those things that are behind you and press forward towards the goal to the upward call of Jesus Christ in your life. There is something inside of you that says that “you refuse to remain the same”.

  1. Rehoboth – the well of “Broad Places” (Genesis 26:22)

You will make room for your enlargement. Enlarge your thinking, and thing big. As a man thinketh in their heart, so is he.  (Isaiah 54:2). Do not withdrawal, do not give up. Have this “I can do it mentality”.

thThe most difficult race to run is the race of the believer. You must put in the work for your blessings and believe God, and have the faith to work out what you believe.

Genesis 32:26 – And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”

You may have to fight all night for your destiny (through prayer). You shouldn’t let God go until He blesses you.  You will find a “kind” that you will have to fight for this kind does not go except through prayer and fasting (Mark 9:29).

count-the-cost2

During this Fast, when others are eating you will say no, you want to remain focused. It’s a cost. When others are tired of praying you say no, because you will pray.

When you sow in tears, you will reap in joy. You have to be tenacious. You should not quit.

The cost of the anointing, and the cost of unbelief.

What are you willing to pay?

Christianity is a fight.

Jabez sought to enlarge his territory. He prayed to God and received increase. Jabez was a mockery to others but when he sought God, he received his breakthrough and received blessings that overtook his expectations.

There is a difference between being free, and being free indeed. You can be enslaved and be set free but still have a slave mentality. When you are free indeed, you receive your breakthrough and increase. You receive results when you are free indeed and no longer carry the slave mentality. You will see no limits and break barriers.

1 Chronicles 4:10 –  And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

When you increase, there are certain things and people that you must let go. The next level is not for everybody. It is for those who are committed and determined to pay the price.

1 Corinthians 13:11 – When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child;  but when I became a man, It t I put away childish things.

The next level means you must let go of certain things. It takes time to get results. When you work out your faith, it carries results. Christianity is a way of life.

The 2 keys to going to the next level are:

  1. Obedience to Instruction

Genesis 26:2-5 –Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you. Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed; because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.”

  1. Taking Action

Genesis 26:12 – Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.

“The instructions you are willing to obey, will determine the miracle you are willing to receive.” – Pastor Austyn.

The next level comes with instructions and obedience.

  • You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

  • You must have that belief and mentality that you may be challenged, but you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

  • Believe in the next level. The month of May is your month of the next level.

  • God is not a man that He will lie to you, nor is he the son of Man that he should repent. That which He said, is what He will do.

God will make room for you as your persevere against the opposition (Genesis 26:21-22).

“The desire of the next level must outweigh the pain of going to the next level.” – Pastor Austyn

Enlargement Starts with You: Learning to Hear Clearly from God

In order to enlarge your territory, you must increase in knowledge of the Word, increase in wisdom and humility. If you can’t do these three simple things, you will not be able to grow. In order to grow, you need to first learn how to hear from God and not only just hear from him, but do as He says with the Word as your foundation. You cannot follow someone You do not know. Therefore, how can you follow God if you don’t know His voice?

There are some of you that may say, I don’t know how to hear from Him. I don’t know His voice.

Why is that?

The truth is, Knowing God’s voice isn’t really as mysterious as it seems to be. You can hear from God clearly when you have the Holy Spirit residing inside of you. Why do you think God seeks for all of us to prophesy? It’s because in order to prophesy, you need to distinguish and learn to Hear and obey His Voice. In order to hear, you are forced to humble yourself before God in order to hear Him by meditating on His Word (the Bible). Everyone has the ability to Hear from God, but how many are willing to Obey His voice when it comes down to it?

John 10:27 [Full Chapter]
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Revelation 2:29

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

How many of you know the song Thriller, Heal the World, Beat It? Who sang it? How did you know that? You have to have meditated and listened to that song multiple times to know the words, to know who sang it and so that when you hear others singing it, you can identify immediately that Michael Jackson sang that song. In the same way, that’s how it is with God. When you read His Word, you are able to rightly divide the Word of Truth. You can tell when someone is using the word out of context because you know exactly what it says. You can tell when a word speaks to you because the Holy Spirit bears witness to the truth of God’s word. If you want to be successful, you must work on your hearing and your obedience to do what you hear.

Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

 Joshua 1:8
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Psalm 119:15

I will meditate on Your precepts, And contemplate Your ways.

Psalm 119:23

Princes also sit and speak against me, But Your servant meditates on Your statutes.

14670-ThinkstockPhotos-465151829.1200w.tn.jpgYou can only repeat what you meditate on.

The definition of meditation is:

to engage in thought or contemplation; reflect.

When you meditate on the Name of the Lord you will be remembered.

Malachi 3:16

[ A Book of Remembrance ] Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name.

1 Timothy 4:12-16 (NKJV)

Take Heed to Your Ministry

12 Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit,[b] in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

4 Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. 15 Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

The Church must be in Unity in order to overcome adversities that any brother or sister faces. You cannot groom leaders in a church if people do not know the Word of God. Every believer is called to minister in one form or another but the requirement is that you must know God’s Word.

UNITY in One Mind, One Spirit, One Cause

Philippians 1:27

[ Striving and Suffering for Christ ] Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

The power of the Praying church assembling as one, in one accord can break barriers, limitations, bring restoration, healing and deliverance and many blessings pour down from Heaven because of the unity found in the Church. A church that prays in unity prevents attacks from the enemy from succeeding and brings about uncommon victories.

Acts 12

Peter Freed from Prison

5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant[a] prayer was offered to God for him by the church. 6 And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison. 7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. 8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.” 9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision. 10 When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.

11 And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”

12 So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying. 13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a girl named Rhoda came to answer. 14 When she recognized Peter’s voice, because of her gladness she did not open the gate, but ran in and announced that Peter stood before the gate. 15 But they said to her, “You are beside yourself!” Yet she kept insisting that it was so. So they said, “It is his angel.”

16 Now Peter continued knocking; and when they opened the door and saw him, they were astonished. 17 But motioning to them with his hand to keep silent, he declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, “Go, tell these things to James and to the brethren.” And he departed and went to another place.

18 Then, as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers about what had become of Peter. 19 But when Herod had searched for him and not found him, he examined the guards and commanded that they should be put to death.

And he went down from Judea to Caesarea, and stayed there.

If we want to increase, then we must first understand that enlargement starts with us. You need to equip yourself with the knowledge of the Word by meditating on it for yourself, rather than wait for a Sunday service to arrive to get fed. God is not in the business of pampering you with the word, He expects you to feed yourself with the Word and get stronger with other members growing in the Word. It is not enough to be hearer and not a doer of what you hear. You cannot follow what you do not know, so therefore, seek to grow by equipping yourself with the Word and learn to recognize and know God’s voice. You can only become his sheep when you recognize the Shepherd’s voice.

Are you ready for enlargement?

Committing to God’s Business Plan for Your Life – Minister Sherline

Today, I want to talk about God’s business plan for your life. In order for me to talk about this, you kind of need to know what it means to have a business plan, so I’ll give you an example from the Business World.

a91a4ac7a83095fb0178c01991d87132In my workplace, I assist a VP and a group of directors and managers in the process of creating a business plan for our subgroup. We drew up plans for certain strategic goals and initiatives we’d like to implement for the year and after we finalized these goals and initiatives, we drew up a financial proposal for funds required to support our groups goals and initiatives. These plans are then given to the Executive board of directors for the company who decide what goals they are willing to implement and what they are not, and they also ensure our strategic goals and initiatives fit in alignment with the overall organization’s  strategic plan, goals and initiatives. On that basis, that’s when we find out what our year is going to look like and helps us to re-strategize for initiatives that are scrapped, or under-funded or under-resourced.

In the same way, God is like the head of an organization who has a Strategic plan for your life. He has a Business Plan for your life and wants you to be a part of it.

The Question is, “do you know what God’s plan is for your life?”

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God’s plan is to have you included in His business plan. I know that many of us have our own sets of goals, aspirations, dreams and most likely have our own plan of obtaining the things we desire, but the question I want to pose to you is this, Did you give your plan to God for Him to screen and assess what goals do not line up with the vision that He has for your life?

I was praying the other day and the Holy Spirit just kept bringing to my attention on the hard work it was to set up all these meetings to create my subgroups business plan before the executive committee and the Holy Spirit brought to my attention and asked me a question. He asked me, “How many of My people ask me about their business plan for their lives?” And the question really hit me, because I had to assess myself and think, how many times had I failed to bring an idea or desire before God and asked Him what He thought about it and the way I was going about it?

We have to include God in our business plan. I believe that God wants to satisfy the desires of our hearts, but how about partnering with Him by also including in our plan to satisfy the desires of Jesus’ heart. When you include God in your plan, you will surely succeed. You see, most of the time, our desires, goals and dreams don’t always line up with God’s plan for our lives and then people get disappointed when things don’t go their way. Have you ever asked God to screen and assess your business plan to see if it lines up with His vision for your life?  If the answer is no, then this is the point I’m making, we need to go back to that place where we put the desires of our own hearts into God’s hand so that He can screen what is in alignment to His will for your life, and scrap out what you don’t need in your life, because sometimes, our desires are not always pure and may potentially be desires that steer you away from true success.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

image2

You see, we need to understand that though God wants us to succeed, we also have to understand that our destiny is also wrapped up in Jesus. He gave you talents in order to use them to advance His cause, which is the cause of Christ Jesus to spread the gospel of hope, peace and love to a world that does not know Him.

Well, how can I line up with God’s Business plan?

Let me encourage you and say that God has given us all we need to be effective to minister the Word of God to a world that does not know him. Some people think that they have nothing to offer if they don’t stand on the pulpit, but let me tell you right now, it’s not about standing on the pulpit. You are important and your gift and talents are what you need to use to advance God’s Business.

God needs you to join Him in His Business Plan. Will you join and partner with Jesus on this?

c9ed72f44d4746bd4962c5c3211d7bbdIf you’re asking yourself “How can I be used, I don’t know what to do with my gift or talent?”, Well, what I’ll say to you is this, there is no gift or talent that is too small that it can’t be used by God to be a blessing to someone else. I’ll give you some examples. If you are a stay-at-home mom, and you love children, then you can be helpful in Children’s ministry. Teach the kids in the church how to love God and worship him. If you are a cleaner/custodian, the church needs to be cleaned and prepared for welcoming newcomers and people that need to hear the message without stepping on gum or what have you on the ground and being distracted by how the place is messy. Be a blessing and volunteer to clean the church. If you only know how to cook then, help out during special events with catering for food or join a soup kitchen and serve the poor who are hungry. If you are an architect, you can assist in expansion and provide structural consultation and advice regarding how the church building can create rooms for more activities for other ministries. If you are a financial advisor in the marketplace, you can use your skills in the church to get people in the church out of debt by volunteering your expertise. If you are a nurse, if somebody suddenly collapses in the church, you will be needed to assist that person.  If you know how to play an instrument or know how to sing, join the worship team. If you are a teacher, then assist the church with bible-study classes. I could go on and on and on, but what I’m trying to say is, that everybody is relevant and God gave you these gifts and talents as a part of  Jesus’ Business Plan. If you do not include Jesus in the plans for your life, just know that your plans are futile and won’t succeed.

The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile.

If you want God to be helping you in your business, you have to want to be a part of helping Him in His business. You will require wise counsel and direction which also means that if you want great success in your life, you must show your business plan to the Greatest CEO of your Life, Jesus Christ.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

Do not be disappointed with the things God strikes off on the list of your strategic plan for success. Just be aware, that His plan is still to prosper you and He knows exactly what you need and require in order to achieve your dreams, but you have to be humble, willing to work, and willing to press forward towards the goal, His WAY. Include God in the picture of your life, Amen!

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

Plans are established by seeking advice; so if you wage war, obtain guidance.

There is a consequence for ignoring to give God the Business Plan for your life to see if it aligns with His Business Plan. You will do things in your own might and power and will do things in secret thinking you’re smart and do not need advice on how to make it. Many people expect God to follow their plans, but have no intention of being part of the overall plan that God has over their lives. Such people do not know the meaning of submission and are very rebellious. If you fail to be a part of God’s Business plan, then I can tell you right now, you will live a very difficult life and will lose everything you think you’ve worked hard for within a blink of an eye if you assume that Your Ways are better than God’s ways. I guarantee that.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.

Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?”

[ Woe to the Obstinate Nation ] “Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the Lord, “to thosewho carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;

When you partner with Jesus as the CEO of your life, you will be successful in every area. Do not be obstinate and incorrigible about how you want to do life. Learn to seek God in EVERYTHING that you do. You need Him to screen your dreams, plans and desires to ensure that they line up with His Jeremiah 29:11 strategic plan for your life. If you want to have no part in the overall spreading the gospel of Truth part of that plan, then you have automatically shut God out of your plan. You must understand that your life is so much more than waking up, going to work, making money, eating and sleeping and waking up the next day to do that all over again. There is a generation dying to know that they have a purpose in their life and need direction, but how can they receive direction if no one wants to follow God’s business plan?

But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand.

Isaiah558-9-e1369426704519

In order to align to God’s Business Plan for your life, you need to know His Word. This isn’t an option, it’s a requirement to satisfy the conditions of success, and I mean Godly success.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Remember, our ways are not His ways, so let us partner with Jesus and get on the same page and join in on committing to God’s Business Plan for our lives, Amen!

Double for your Trouble

Isaiah 61:7 –  For your shame you will have double; and for disgrace they will rejoice in their portion; therefore in their own land they will possess double; everlasting joy will be theirs.

God will anoint you with a double portion this year.

Prayer to God that your problem be swallowed so that you can obtain your 0525cb8ac9221145a6716584f9b25e26victory.

God will so bless you that your problem will be insignificant.

Jabez understood that He needed to seek God to enlarge his territory. He was a man that was the object of mockery by other people, but God changed his destiny when He sought the Lord. He turned what was evil in Jabez’s live for the good because he loved the Lord. The man was so honorable that a city was named after him, the city of Jabez.

1 Chronicles 4:10 –  And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that You would bless me indeed, and make my border larger, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, so that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he asked.

God will cause your enemies to change their statements of mockery about you. God will exalt you and you will be a living testimony that Jesus Christ is Lord over your life. He will take you from a nobody and make you into a somebody. It is not by might or by power, it is by His Spirit.

Do not listen to the words of those that have written you off. God has prepared something for you. He has created a table before you in the presence of your enemies.

Psalm 23:5 – You prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Psalm 103:1-5 – 1 A Psalm of David. Bless Jehovah, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name. 2 Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; 3 who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; 4 who redeems your life from ruin; who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies; 5 who satisfies your mouth with good; your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

God will satisfy you with good things this year. He will give you a new name, a new personality and mindset.

Mark 9:23 – Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

For you to see a double portion of Honor this year you must:

  1. Believe
  2. You must be connected to God.

In a hurricane, many trees may fall, even an oak tree can fall, but a Palm tree is never uprooted because this tree can withstand any storm.

Make God your Number 1 priority. God is your Source.

“Find God this year. It may not be Convenient but it will be expedient” – Pastor Austyn

Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself also in Jehovah, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

What do you want God to do for you in the year 2016?

John 15:6-8 – 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered. And they gather and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My Words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you. 8 In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples.

“If you take God for granted, you will be grounded”Pastor Austyn

Refuse to deny God’s name this year.

Here is a song by Todd Delaney called Trust in You. May this song bless your spirit today.

Ending it Strong

finish-strong

Psalm 65:1 -11 – 1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm and Song of David. To You silence is praise, O God, in Zion; and to You is a vow paid. 2 To You who hears prayer, all flesh comes. 3 Things of iniquity are mightier than I; as for our transgressions, You shall purge them away. 4 Blessed is the one whom You choose, and cause to come near You. He shall dwell in Your courts; we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Your house, of Your holy temple. 5 By awesome things in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation; who are the hope of all the ends of the earth and the sea, of those far away. 6 The mountains are established by Your strength, banded together with might, 7 who stills the noise of the sea, the roar of their waves, and the uproar of the peoples. 8 And the inhabitants of the furthermost places are afraid of Your signs; You make the beginning of the morning and the evening rejoice. 9 You visit the earth and water it; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, for in this way You have prepared it. 10 You fill its terraces with water; You deepen its furrows; You make it soft with showers; You bless the sprouting of it. 11 You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drop fatness.

God is going to bless you abundantly.

God Who is the One that began a good thing in you will bring it to completion.

Do you want to end this year strong?

You must develop a relationship with God. You must learn to Trust God. Trusting God is not easy because you must Believe Him. God is in the business of saving you to the very end.

Philippians 1:6 – being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ,

  • God can turn your opposition into your victory.
  • He can turn your mourning into dancing.
  • He can turn your sorrow into joy.

Zechariah 4:7 –  Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings, Grace! Grace to it!

Proverbs 23:7 –   for as he thinks in his heart, so is he; Eat and drink, he says to you, but his heart is not with you.

“Your problems will expire because the problems of yesterday should not follow you into your tomorrow”- Pastor Austyn.

Nehemiah 4:7-8 –  7 And it happened, when Sanballat and Tobiah, and the Arabians, and the Ammonites, and the Ashdodites, heard that the walls of Jerusalem had gone up, and that the breaks were being filled, they were very angry. 8 And all of them conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem and do harm to it.

When you start to progress, there will be people that will be jealous and angry at your prosperity.

If you believe it, you will receive it.  Trust in God and He will help you end your year Strong no matter what crisis you face, not matter what obstacle or opposition you face, you will end Strong.
